I got Gillian from small dog rescue, she was staying with Tracy Hughey, who is a "saint" in my eyes. Gillian will actually stay with Tracy when we go out of town traveling. Gillian loves going back there to visit all of her little friends and especially her boyfriend Archie.
We love Gillian sooo much, she brings us all great joy and tons of laughter into our lives. It has taken her some time to warm up to her family and visitors but she is really coming around. She loves going for walks and kissing her brother, a large Tonkanese kitty named Djembay (pronounced jim-bay). He however just ignores her and goes about his napping business. She sleeps in her crate at night, but after going out in the morning, if I go back to bed she loves to burrough to the bottom of the bed, under all the covers for however long I stay in bed. This is particuarlly her favorite thing to do in the winter when its chilly outside.
Gillian always makes us feel loved and wanted, no matter if we are gone for 5 minutes or 5 hours, her reaction is the same, pure joy and excitement to see us. Since she is part jack russell, her energy is boundless and we have often thought of entereing her into a high jump contest, she looks like she is riding a pogo stick when she jumps. I could go on and on about how great Gillian is, but I won't, I'm like one of those moms who has a photo album and a story for every picture I carry about her. She has made our lives so happy and we are forever thankful to her and you all for bringing us together.
